Division
No matter what the economy is, Human Beings must eat to live. It can be
seen that whenever there is a recession or economic meltdown in any part
of the world, the least affected sector is the food sector. So this sector
is always a winner any day any time.
The company is going into food production in stages starting with fish
farm, poultry farm, table water and later the cultivation, processing and
export of cassava and cassava products.
Presently the fish and poultry farms are in Jos. These farms will be
upgraded and transferred to Abuja in the last quarter of 2010. Table water
is in Abuja. Crescent Water is approved by both NAFDAC and NSO.
Ten hectares of land with Local Government C-of-O has already been
acquired for the cassava farm/factory in Akwanga, in Nassarawa State. 4000
oil palm tress have been planted in the farm pending the time cassava
cultivation will start.
All the food products are presently consumed in the Northern part of
Nigeria. There is a plan to have Agrigold fish and poultry products
available in every part of the country in 2011. Cassava chips and pellets
will be exported to China the same year. Depending on the quantity
purchased, the products of this division will be conveyed to customers
free of charge.
